About the Program
Our next Summer Associate application cycle will open in early January 2027.
At WOH, summer associates don’t just observe. They contribute, learn, and grow in an environment built on trust, mentorship, and opportunity.
Our program gives the following benefits:
- Substantive Legal Work: Associates contribute to active matters in a range of practice areas, gaining exposure to real legal challenges.
- Mentorship: Each associate is paired with mentors and supported by approachable partners and senior associates who are invested in their growth.
- Professional Development: Training opportunities include legal writing workshops, mock presentations, and feedback sessions to build practical skills.
- Firm Integration: Social events, lunches, and off-site gatherings give summer associates a true sense of the firm’s culture and camaraderie.
- Pathway to Careers: Many participants return to WOH as full-time associates, having built strong relationships and proven their capabilities.
