Todd R. Howe Todd R. Howe is president of WOH Government Solutions, LLC, a Washington, D.C. subsidiary of Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP, the largest law firm in New York’s Capital Region. In this role Mr. Howe represents corporate, non-profit, and cultural institutions before the United States Congress and advises on the implementation of federal regulatory issues from the executive branch agencies. Mr. Howe opened WOH Government Solutions in 2002 after a 20 + year career in senior-level management positions on the federal, state, and corporate levels. Prior to joining WOH Government Solutions, Mr. Howe was senior vice president for corporate relations of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America, developing an influential network of mortgage bankers to assist in the writing, passage and implementation of federal legislation and regulations to advance the many interests of the organization’s members. Mr. Howe also served as a policy and strategic advisor to two Cabinet members, including the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development and the Secretary of Labor. At HUD, he served as Deputy Chief of Staff and was the secretary’s liaison on policy matters to elected officials at all levels of government. At the U.S. Department of Labor he served as Deputy Chief of Staff in the office of Secretary Robert B. Reich and assisted in the coordination of the agency’s policy development and relations with federal, state and local officials nationwide. In New York, Mr. Howe served in the Office of Governor Mario M. Cuomo, the New York State Senate, and as a senior vice president of Sawchuk, Brown Associates/ Hill & Knowlton, an Albany-based government affairs firm. John A. Regan, Esq. John Regan joined WOH Government Solutions, LLC, the Washington, D.C.-based subsidiary of Albany’s largest law firm, Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP, in July, 2007. Mr. Regan is the Firm’s legal presence in the Washington, D.C. office. His primary focus is on government relations and immigration law. He represents client interests in front of the United States Congress and advises on a variety of diverse issues such as election law and immigration and nationality concerns. |
